NetAccess’ Two Premier Data Centre Facilities

NetAccess Systems Inc. (NAS) currently owns & operates two premier data centre facilities; 21 King Street West, Hamilton and 151 Front Street, Toronto. Best of class methodologies and redundancies at each location easily support 1000+ servers. The NAS Data Centres are standardized across our locations and optimize data centre performance variables including space, power, network and internal infrastructure following TIA-942 data centre standards.

Key Advantages

On-Demand Physical/Virtual Facilities
NAS offers secure and out-of-band management and a highly scaleable, on demand, virtual and physical data centre experience.

Fast Reliable Infastructure/High Availability
NAS deploys leading edge technology to provide very fast infrastructure level with high availability to its virtual servers in the IBM Blade Centre and SAN environments.

Geographic Diversity
NAS provides geographic diversity as a means to offer system, network and data redundancies. Our Hamilton and Toronto facilities are connected via multi-homed networks to offer ideal placement to take advantage of traffic volumes and speeds. All of NAS’ connections can be terminated in either data centre or in both for high availability and redundancy requirements.

Data Centre Redundancies
All of the NAS data centres feature dual redundant 1.2 Mkva generators; N+1 UPS systems, redundant cooling with backup redundant chillers; and dedicated fibre for multi-homed backbone connectivity. NAS only uses industry leading suppliers in its core such as IBM Blade Centre and SAN technologies and Cisco for its core, ensuring the highest levels of performance, reliability and interoperability.

Server Infrastructure
NAS offers distinct redundant architectures for its server hosting and managed virtual environments. A private and public Gig network as well as a separate management network are in place for accessing and performing server maintenance. The NAS infrastructure is built from best-of-class components to allow system administrators secure unencumbered access and remote administration of both virtual and physical environments. This architecture provides an advantage in security, accessibility and bandwidth efficiency while allowing ease of management. Administrators can securely manage data without sacrificing public Internet bandwidth to their sites and applications.

Network Connectivity
NAS offers redundant Gig connections between its data centres in Toronto and Hamilton. NAS also manages and maintains its own private wireless and fibre network in the Hamilton region spanning from Oakville to Niagara offering its clients media-independent networks. With speeds up to Gig, both fibre and wireless connections back into the core allow both private and public access from client sites in the surrounding region. Once on the backbone network, it is multi-homed and tied into many Tier 1 providers.

NAS integrates its Private, Public and data centre to data centre networks providing the maximum accessibility, availability, security and control for your IT resources. With this architecture, traffic is segregated between public and private, creating an environment from which Administrators can securely transfer data or access server resources without compromising security or impacting public traffic to their virtual and physical environments.
